Civic Center

The Civic Center is a great spot for you to host a baby shower, birthday or graduation party, family reunion, or any kind of get-together that calls for celebration.  Call the Park District at 379-4203 for rental information and available dates.

The Civic Center also hosts Peace Meals.  Seniors can come in Monday - Thursday to enjoy a provided lunch with the company of others.  Cost is $3 per meal.  Please call ahead to schedule your attendence.

Coady Park

The Civic Center and General Administration building are housed on the grounds of Coady Park which offers wide open play areas, tennis courts, and sand volleyball courts.

The Skate Park is also located on the east side of Coady Park.  It is open to the public year-round from 8am until dusk, weather permitting.

   Paxton Park District Pool

As we are all aware, the pool is closed for the year.  Park District staff, Park District Board members, and various community members are all doing what they can in hopes that the Paxton community will have a pool to enjoy in 2012.  Feel free to familiarize yourself with some of the specifics behind the pool's closure.
