Program Refunds Due to COVID-19 Pandemic
Due to the unprecedented affects of the COVID-19 Pandemic Closures ordered by the Governor of Illinois, the Paxton Park District is announcing that the Park District is now able to refund programs that were paid for earlier this year by Park District patrons.
The Paxton Park District is issuing and mailing checks in the coming weeks to those patrons we have deposited for programs earlier this year. Due to a delay in getting valid addresses so the park district can mail refund checks, the refund process is taking longer than anticipated. Our staff is diligently trying to contact the people our records indicate are owed a refund. We will be sending an email to those we have email addresses for, and calling customers that we don't have email addresses or physical addresses for.
For those that sent checks to the park district for programs that were not deposited by the Paxton Park District, we will not be depositing those in the future and instead will be shredding those checks. We will update our website when programs will become available and link instructions regarding payments then.
