Each league must use the same baseball that shall be approved by ACBA annually.
Any changes made to ACBA general or division rules must obtain a unanimous vote by all ACBA leagues.
Umpires must be a minimum of 15 years old. Umpires do not have to be patched by IHSA for Pinto level games. One patched umpire must be scheduled for Mustang, Bronco, and Pony league games, the second umpire does not have to be patched.
All ACBA Tournament host leagues must maintain a pitchers log for that tournament.
Any player, coach, manager, or fan ejected from a game must serve a one (1) game suspension of the next scheduled game. Any appeal must be made immediately following the game of ejection to the ACBA Commissioner. Umpires must submit a report to the ACBA Commissioner following the game explaining the ejection.
In the event that a team is short players, that league should ‘call up’ a player from the division below to bring the team to 9/10. The team should try to ensure that the borrowed player has a matching uniform to wear, however if color cannot be matched the player is not to be penalized.
All ACBA leagues must provide a mound. Mounds may be permanent or portable.
All divisions shall use a pitch count as detailed by pitch smart charts and IHSA guidelines.
